Pastoral Medical Association

 WHAT IS THE PMA?

The PMA, the international regulatory board for the practice of pastoral medicine, is a landmark organization which establishes standards, certifies and licenses Christian-based practitioners in natural medical arts, and brings the general public together in membership with practitioners from all areas of health care to share in safe, natural medicine. This organization brings many new benefits to patients, practitioners and potential students interested in pursuing this exciting new faith centred career direction both within Canada and internationally.

OUR INVOLVEMENT

Our own Dr. Trudy Bricker is one of the first Canadians  to be licensed as as  Doctor of Pastoral Medicine, DM(P), by the PMA based on her extensive education, background and experience in scripturally valid natural medicine and her longstanding faith based approach to health counselling.

Dr. Trudy serves as the Canadian representative on the PMA International Advisory Board while Larry Bricker, our General Manager, is Chairman of the Canadian Division of the PMA International Advisory Board.

We are very proud to be part of the PMA.
