DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

A Chiropractic Associate is required for our busy multi-disciplinary natural medicine clinic located in North Waterloo.  The successful candidate will be highly motivated, principled, team-oriented and enthusiastic - the right individual to take advantage of this unique opportunity offering the potential for mentorship, development and growth within a dynamic and successful practice.

MANDATE AND MISSION STATEMENT:

The Heritage Health Centre, based on Christian principles, offers an honest, ethical, evidence-based, patient-centred approach to health care.  This model fosters an environment of openness and accountability to both patient and practitioner which in turn develops a bond of trust.  Here the patient comes first and as their health needs and goals are met, the patient begins to feel safe and a close relationship conducive to healing develops.  This approach to wellness emphasizes both intra and inter-professional relationships including regular dialogue among health care providers to help achieve the highest quality of health service and allow patients to reach their full health potential.  We see this work as a ministry serving to provide hope to the sick, strength to the ailing and encouragement to the suffering.

CONDITIONS AND DEMOGRAPHICS:

Typical conditions presented at this clinic range from repetitive sprain/strain trauma to sports injuries and pregnancy.  A wide range of chronic and difficult disorders that typically do not respond to traditional chiropractic care are the mainstay of our practice.  We do not have the luxury of “light” or “textbook” cases: challenges extend from degenerative spinal stenosis and severe spondyloarthropathy to post-surgical lymphedeoma and cancer.  We find that the challenge and complexity of these types of conditions, forces our practitioners to look and work “outside the box”, leading them to become more well-rounded and so better able to provide the best possible patient care.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES AVAILABLE

The successful candidate will be provided facilities which include adjusting rooms with chiropractic table, telephone and Wi-Fi/wireless internet access, plus reception, booking and financial services. Our advertising and promotion activities which currently include a weekly radio show, will promote the new associate as well.
