Dr. Feng Lee, B.Sc., D.C., R.N.C.P., D.N.M.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. C. Feng Lee obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario in 1996. During previous studies at the University of Waterloo for his Bachelor of Science, he was voted best Teaching Assistant of 1991 for his teaching of undergraduate lab courses in Human Physiology and Cellular Biology.

His passion for research coupled with his strong background in biomechanics has enabled him to develop innovative and effective techniques particularly in the area of chronic and difficult musculoskeletal pain. Over the years he has acquired a vast amount of knowledge and clinical experience, specializing in the area of chronic pain management.

Dr. Lee favours the integration of Chiropractic and Natural Medicine, a holistic approach to wellness. He continues to promote the unification of physical medicine by harmonizing related disciplines through education, openness, mutual respect and a commitment to place patient health and well being first.

Public lectures he has given include:

  • Fergus Hospital Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia support group
  • University of Guelph School of Nutrition
  • Wilfrid Laurier University
  •  The Consumer Health Organization of Canada
  • Association of Pharmacists for Ontario.

He has contributed to and been featured in peer-reviewed chiropractic publications where he has published difficult clinical cases on neurological and autonomic dysfunction.

Included in his numerous guest appearances on radio and television promoting natural/integrative medicine is his current weekly live phone-in health programme with his co-hosts Dr. Trudy and Larry Bricker on Faith FM – CJTW 94.3. Here he shares his clinical knowledge with his faith and views his practice as an outreach ministry to the sick, the ailing and the broken in spirit and body.

Dr. Lee serves as an Advisory Board member for both the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants and is currently Vice President of The Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners of North America which is associated with the World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners sanctioned by the World Health Organization. He is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Lee also serves as a Clinical Skills Examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and more recently at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Hamilton.

In addition to maintaining a busy practice, he acts as an ergonomic consultant for industrial and on-site job analysis.
 

 

 
Trudy R. Bricker, R.N.C.P., Ph.D., D.N.M.

Doctor of Natural Medicine

 

Dr. Trudy Bricker was attracted to helping the sick through natural medicine from an early age, particularly because of the influence of her grandmother’s work in her native Austria.

After coming to Canada she worked as a Dental Nurse in the 1960s, and later began practising herbal medicine as a Master Herbalist (M.H.). Her passion for the field led her to found the Heritage Health Centre in Kitchener along with her husband Larry in the 1980s, while at the same time earning qualifications as a Registered Nutritional Consultant, speaking at conferences and appearing on various talk shows.

Her caring and giving approach to helping the sick did not go unnoticed, and resulted in numerous awards and recognition both locally and internationally over the years.

1964 - Graduated in high standing as a Certified Dental Nurse
1985 - Graduated with a Master of Herbology from the Rio Grande Centre for Herbal Studies
1987 - Graduated as a Registered Nutritional Consultant from the Canadian Nutrition Institute with the highest marks ever achieved in the program
1988 - Attended numerous courses and lectures to update in areas such as phytotherapy, acupuncture, stress management and soft tissue work
1992 - Earned a Ph.D. in Medicine from the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine. Thesis explored a clinical approach to ALS using natural therapies.
1998 - Received professional designation of Registered Nutrition Consultant Practitioner (RP87-067) from the Nutritional Consultants Organization of Canada, now the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants
2001 - Awarded Certificate in Homotoxicology from the International Society of Homotoxicology
2005 - awarded Doctor of Natural Medicine (D.N.M.) from the World Organization of Natural Medicine
2007 - Awarded Certified Bio Puncture Practitioner (C.B.P.) from Board of Natural Medicine Doctors and Practitioners

Dr. Trudy as she is fondly known, continues to pray, research and study, always advancing to better serve her patients. As a strong believer, she works as a servant for the glory of God.

 

 
 
Larry R. Bricker, B.Sc., M.Sc.

Clinic Manager

Larry Bricker along with Dr. Trudy Bricker founded the Heritage Health Centre in the 1980s. Larry’s science (Physics) background and his many years of experience as a Field Co-ordinator and Team Manager for South Western Ontario with the University of Waterloo Co-operative Education Programme have proved invaluable in his management and forward planning activities at the Heritage Health Centre.
He has participated in many health conferences and meetings along with Dr. Trudy, both locally and at more distant locations such as Havana, Nassau and Whitehorse, and has been recognized by the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine for his contributions to the advancement of natural medicine.

Larry is an accomplished musician with many years of experience in contemporary and worship music. Some of the background music played at the clinic has been selected from his keyboard and guitar recordings. Larry’s music is given to the glory of God.
